i think society as a whole would be a million times normaler if we just never said the phrase “mental health” ever again. 99.99% of the time people actually mean “feelings”, which are normal and non-pathogical and should be treated as such. even bad feelings are still normal.

I know no one ever listens to me but a point I keep trying to drum into people is that any and all organizations when given enough power have the capacity to abuse it. Unions are often the worst.
My art mentor had an art show in some venue in Yankee territory (we’re from Texas). His truck driver delivered a piece, and they were trying to unload it at the gallery, when some dude waving a baseball bat came charging at them from a car on the street. He was yelling about how they were taking jobs away from the union workers, and he was going to break the piece of they didn’t stop. He legally could not unload his art without hiring union goons to do it, and they did not give a shit of they broke something by being uncareful.
